Abstract
La Caridad Política es uno de los ejes centrales de la Doctrina Social de la Iglesia. En este trabajo, se expone, primero (ver), los lugares en que la expresión es utilizada por Francisco y el magisterio precedente. Luego (juzgar), se explicita qué es la Caridad Política, entendida como manifestación social de la virtud teológica de la Caridad y su distinción de otras virtudes sólo naturales como la justicia, la filantropía o la beneficencia. Y al fin, en tercer lugar (actuar), se señalan algunas orientaciones para la acción que ayudan a hacerla presente en la realidad de nuestro tiempo.
Political Charity is one of the central axes of the social Doctrine of the Church. In this work we show, first of all (see), the places in which the expression is used by Francis and the preceding magisterium. Then, secondly (judge), it is explained what Political Charity is, understood as a social manifestation of the theological virtue of Charity and its distinction from other only natural virtues, such as justice, philanthropy or beneficence. And finally, in third place (act), some guidelines for action are indicated that help to make it present in the reality of our time.
